Dr. Jeffrey Mercer
Dr. Mercer was born and raised in TN.
Dr. Jeffrey Mercer is a Kingsport native. He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville for his undergraduate studies and majored in Biochemistry. After graduating from UT, Dr. Mercer went to dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. While in dental school, Dr. Mercer was awarded the membership to the Richard Doggett Dean and Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society for high scholastic standing, and the Sydney S. Friedman, Sr. Periodontology Award.
Since graduating dental school, Dr. Mercer has worked in Knoxville and Kingsport. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Kingsport Dental Society of which he is a former President.
In his spare time Dr. Mercer enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, his daughter, Caroline, and his son Luke. He also enjoys running, woodworking, travel and being active in his church.
